What Kind Of Horse Are You?

In case you haven't seen it, Lynda Polk's Hoofbeats blog has a fun quiz to take to find out what breed of horse you would be.

Silk and Siete were not surprised to learn that I was a Quarter Horse. Duh, Mom, what did you think you were?

I took this quiz the other day and came out as a Spanish Mustang- go figure, thought I would be a warmblood like my guy was.

I took this test as well and I turned out as an Arabian. I wonder if that means since that is my horse of choice that we are a good fit. lol

I know this is crazy but I just have to correct myself from yesterday. I don't know where in the world I got Spanish Mustang from, somewhere in the twisted depths of my brain is a Spanish something or other I guess, but I'm sure it was just Mustang. I feel better now. Hope you are having a nice weekend and enjoying the weather.

Arlene, I bet the Spanish mustang came from my comment somewhere that the woman who built/owned our home/barn bred and trained them.

Which made me want to check in and see how her herd is doing - the website is rbefarm.com - and it's actually a great lesson about Spanish Colonial horses, Spanish mustangs, and Bankers.

Plus you get to see her gorgeous stallion, Cisco, who lived here, along with Nevada Star and a number of the mares.
