A Message to My Daughter

Hold On
Hold on to what is good,
Even if it's a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe,
Even if it's a tree that stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do,
Even if it's a long way from here.
Hold on to your life,
Even if it's easier to let go.
Hold on to my hand,
Even if someday I'll be gone away from you.

A Pueblo Indian Prayer

What a beautiful poem with lovely sentiments.
Hope you are having a wonderful mother's day and enjoying time with your mom and family.
Sometime, maybe this week there is an ice cream cone with our names on it.

I wish there was a little "thumbs up" or "like" link to click on, because I would.

Great post.

I hope you and your Mom and Silk are having the best of Mothers' Days.
