Into the Mystic

I had a fantastic, mystical experience this week when I visited Pamela and Paul Rickenbach-Moshimer at Blue Star Equiculture.  Their non-profit foundation is a working horse rescue and sanctuary committed to helping horses, humans and Mother Earth.  And this is one big herd of happy horses.  Since the weather has been pretty frigid and the snow has been falling like crazy, the herd had not been able to get out and play for a while.  Pamela and Paul invited me to climb through snow up to my waist to get a perfect vantage point for some big horse fun.  I think this might be what Heaven is like.

Take a look --

Great video Victoria. How many horses are there? They look gorgeous and so well taken care of...an outstanding facility. Nice that you were able to visit.

Lori - I think there are about 40 horses. Each horse has a fascinating story. This is such a great place with kind, loving people. I can't wait to go back there!

Thanks, Anu and Arlene - They are happy horses, so loved and well taken care of and you can see it in the way they move and react to everyone.

Just beautiful...there really is something so very special about horses isn't there? So incredibly powerful and so very sensitive and awe-inspiring all together in one magical package. *sigh*
