If you found your center (as Billie said) you are happy.

When I started to think about myself, I understood, that I also lost my egde, but I miss it and I didn't find my center yet. I was fooling myself for some time that I found it, but I see today, that it was not true.
I am on my way...Ewahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02460827662984311538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3344836954494496679.post-1439873983706405532008-03-08T02:08:00.000-05:002008-03-08T02:08:00.000-05:00No, I don't want it either.I was alot like you n m...No, I don't want it either.

I was alot like you n my younger days, often visiting New York while my best friend attended Barnard. She only had a studo, one room apt, but it was sucha thrill to stay with her and go out and expore the city at any time of the night or day. There was always something going on.

But I don't have any urge for city life now. Maybe I just got it out of my system?

But I liked what Billie said about finding your center.

I think that describes this transition quite well.Laughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3344836954494496679.post-33713849466888074292008-03-08T00:17:00.000-05:002008-03-08T00:17:00.000-05:00It was a beautiful gift that you gave your friend ...It was a beautiful gift that you gave your friend - in more ways than one.

I lived in Park Slope for 13 years, before returning here almost 10 years ago. Back in the day. I miss my edge; I suspect that's why I haven't yet found my center. I envy you being able to let go.detroit doghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03636798112379229385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3344836954494496679.post-59189046110471194552008-03-07T20:14:00.000-05:002008-03-07T20:14:00.000-05:00I know exactly what you mean about loosing your ed...I know exactly what you mean about loosing your edge. But when you came home your family and your girls were there for you, is there any better feeling than that.
I hope you can relax a little this weekend.Grey Horse Mattershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05837575441967937196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3344836954494496679.post-89086165794753544092008-03-07T12:44:00.000-05:002008-03-07T12:44:00.000-05:00But you have found the center! So much more valuable, imo.

I hope your weekend is peaceful and restorative.

We have a big storm coming through tonight and I'm already fretting a bit, but will close up the barn again and keep my fingers crossed that the winds don't do damage.billiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18187141867284800597noreply@blogger.com
